We started in business selling
New Old Stock parts purchased from
hundreds of Ford dealerships and rebuilding difficult to find chassis and electrical
components.
In 1992 a friend suggested purchasing a
pallet of fasteners that had come from an auction after the closing of the
Shelby American Inc. plant in Los Angeles. There were about 80 items weighting
1200 lbs. Our immediate success convinced us to move forward. Today we stock 3500 automotive fasteners weighing about 1,000,000 lbs !
We have developed many thousands of kits consisting of exact original design
fasteners. AMK also offers many items in bulk quantities ranging from 1 to
100,000.
AMK believes in American Made
quality. We design and finish fastener tooling in our
Virginia facility and manufacture 90% of our fasteners in USA !
