Place bolts are short free-spinning, self-locking hex head bolts used to prevent loosening. The circular recess under the head and slots in the top of the head work together to create an elastic flexing of the head as it is tightened, effectively mimicking the joint performance of a longer bolt. The additional stretch helps prevent joint relaxation and the sharp hex corners discourage reverse rotation. Finish: Phosphate & Thread Sealer.
